Description
This Elasmosaurus lived in the seas of the Late Cretaceous period and reached an impressive length of 14 meters, making it the longest plesiosaur. Its extremely flexible neck was 8 meters long and consisted of around 75 vertebrae. Equipped with four paddle-like flippers and a small head, it was ideally suited for swimming in the oceans of that time.
