Description
The Stegosaurus is a dinosaur from the Jurassic period. It lived in North America about 195 million years ago. With a length of approx. 6 meters and a height of 2.5 meters, it possessed distinct, bony plates and powerful spikes on its tail for defense. As a herbivore, it moved leisurely on all fours, with its small head and equally small brain supported by a sophisticated nervous system.
