Citadelles in the French language edition is a strategic card game by Bruno Faidutti, published by Asmodee. In this medieval building game, 2 to 7 players construct their own city out of various districts. In each round, participants secretly choose a character such as the King, the Assassin, the Thief, or the Architect. Each role grants special abilities to collect gold, erect buildings, or disrupt opponents' plans. A game takes an average of 45 minutes and combines tactical planning with powers of observation and targeted bluffing.
