The frame puzzle by Larsen depicts the detailed wildlife of the Arctic with a total of 46 puzzle pieces. At the center of the scene is an upright polar bear next to a walrus family on the pack ice. The illustration is complemented by other polar and marine animals such as seals, whales, narwhals, puffins, fish, and a jellyfish in the underwater section. Thanks to the sturdy backing frame, the pieces always stay securely in place while puzzling. The individually shaped die-cuts are partly based on the animal contours and help children recognize matching shapes. The animal motif provides realistic insights into the Arctic habitat while training concentration and fine motor skills.
