Description
With the Kosmos experiment kit Bionic Robotic Arm, you can construct a movable gripping arm based on nature. The design is modeled after the functioning of an elephant's trunk and works with artificial muscles that allow 360-degree all-around flexibility. The model is controlled entirely mechanically via two joysticks, so no batteries are required for operation. At the tip of the bionic arm is a rotatable 3-finger gripper, which can be used to precisely lift and move various objects. The construction kit provides a hands-on introduction to the basics of MINT/STEM subjects in technology and bionics.
