Description
The Cargo Ship and Harbour Crane playset from Hape expands maritime play scenarios centered around ports and freight traffic. The cargo ship features a solid wooden hull and a blue superstructure with a pilothouse. Using the rotating harbour crane, the included freight containers can be precisely picked up and placed in the ship's cargo hold. The colorful containers are designed with various cargo symbols such as fish, wood, and packages, and feature metal contacts on top for the magnetic lifting function. This loading theme combines ideally with the Hape railway and playfully introduces basic logistical concepts involved in transporting and transshipping goods.
