Description
The Golden River is a tactical strategy game by Keith Piggott for two to four players. As captains, you steer ships across the storied river of Rokugan with the goal of increasing your prestige, wealth, and influence. Equipped with playing cards and colored ship markers, you carefully plan your moves to skillfully utilize resources and advance your fleet. The Asian-inspired theme combines forward-looking action with atmospheric design. A game session takes about 45 to 90 minutes and demands tactical decisions when maneuvering on the water.
